Good pizza! We get take out or the lunch special with a slice and drink. They were closed for a while about a year ago but seem to be back up for good.

Great slices, good wait staff. Decent ambience. The bread knots were a little dry/hard... but I was there very off hours. I'll definitely go back though. They also have a HUGE stromboli as an option, that is awesome... easily shareable!

Well, I have been looking for a decent pizza joint since I moved here. I think I found one. A thin crust, very flavorable sauce and a good price for the size. 11.00 for a claimed 3 pounder cheese. The people were great, it was clean and I got it fast. Even the local Cops came here. So they must be doing something right. They even paid full price ;-) I haven't seen it ever before but they had steak, eggplant and banana peppers toppings!!! They offer calzone ,stromboli and cannolis...:-) On the wall they had awards of best pizza but that was a few years back. I was convince .so give them a try

The only reason Sal's gets a 3 star from me is the service on 3/7/13. I understand there is a classic car show that night but the owner should then staff accordingly. The poor kid working inside was so busy which is why we were as patient as we were. He was great but he could barely keep up and we felt bad for him! The pizza was great as usual but it was like pulling teeth to even get our order placed and we gave up on refills on our drinks. Not the best experience but the food made it worthwhile.

Best pizza in the Cape. If you are from NY and are looking for an everyday pizza place this is it.

Sals is fine, it's biggest problem is that their pizza is inconsistent. Sometimes it is fabulous and sometimes the middle is undercooked. If you order wings make sure you get your dipping sauce before you leave as they always short me on it. One small peeve is that they advertise that the "original Sal" is back and he is not the original Sal, the original Sals pizza WAS phenomenal!

Let me begin by saying this review is for their sister restaurant Bella Serra over on SW 16th Street (about 2 miles away form this location). I ordered pick-up from where I thought was Sal's on Cape Coral Pkway but turns out I called their other location Bella Sera Restaurant on SW 16th street by Chiquita Pkwy. I'm glad I did. When I went into the 910 location it was filthy and run down. When I got to the 16th Street location it was like night and day bc the place was brand new - new kitchen, new ovens, clean operation. The pizzas were decent for South Florida but I admit I am a pizza snob coming from Chicago. I will definitely order from Bella Sera again and avoid Sal's even though they are the same operation.

Best pizza in SWFL!!! We looooooooooooooove to pick up their pizza and garlic knots after work or on a Friday night. Perfect everytime! Another plus for me is that even though we live slightly outside their delivery zone, if I ask nicely they still bring right to our door! Yay Sals, I am a big fan!

My boyfriend and I love this place! Great pizza and very nice customer service. I ordered for delivery and the older man wasn't very nice when dropping off my pizza. The pizza out weighs that though and the garlic knots are very delicious!

Wanted to like it, gave it numerous tries, always disappointed. Be sure to look at the dates of the other reviews as the 4 stars are definitely an outdated measure. It's not easy finding good pizza in Cape Coral, but it's a fair trade off for the 300 days of sun.

This place is great! Delicious pizza, friendly staff, large portions, and reasonable prices. The ingredients are made fresh daily, including the pizza dough, cheese, and sauce. If you're in the mood for pizza or Italian food, this is the place. My husband and I had the grilled chicken Cesar salad and the Supreme pizza...excellent choices for our first time here.

I'm giving this 3 stars because I felt it was 2 stars but my husband and daughter thought it was more like 4 stars. We got two pizzas, a large and a small. The crust on the large was a bit soggy, not crisp at all. The crust on the small was much better. We got bacon on the small and it was sooo salty. I did enjoy the sauce. Just a note: On the large, I was using a coupon for 2 toppings. I was not able to get two half toppings to count as one topping (i.e., I was getting mushroom on the whole thing, then wanted pepperoni on one half and bacon on the other half). I was going to be charged for 3 toppings. When I asked about it when we picked the pizzas up, I was told that's how the owner does it for coupons. I have never heard of a pizza place not accepting two halfs as one topping. Don't think we'll be going back.

My husband and I were looking for a great, non-chain pizza place after we recently moved to Cape Coral. Sal's was recommended by our neighbor and boy was he spot on! Great NY style pizza, amazing subs and the garlic knots are out of this world!! We love the place minus the "manager" with pink hair as she is incredibly rude, unhelpful & never friendly. As far as we are concerned the place is fantastic except for her. We have developed great relationships on a first name basis with all the staff except her and they are what keeps us coming back next to the great food. The ONLY reason I did not give five stars is their terrible manager.

Sal's IS the pizza place in Cape Coral. We've dined in, picked up, or had delivery. The best way is to dine in because then your pie comes piping hot to the table. Pick up is my next choice and delivery, while convenient, just doesn't get the pie to the house hot enough. On to the taste, though. Great veggies and meat combos, I especially love the meatball topping. No scrimping on portions and the dough is just perfect. The garlic knots are a must have. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I do wish they were open a bit later on Friday and Saturday night. You really can't get a better pie in SW Florida.

This place has opened and closed more times than I can count. It always returns as Sal's pizza, but the pizza is usually different each time. Most the time visiting here, the pizza is delicious, and the garlic knots are great! It's small inside and usually not very busy. It's a hard location to park in and a very small parking lot.

Best NY style pizza / pizzeria in Cape Coral. Yesterday stopped in for 2 slices and a soda - $3.99 - an d their slices are giant. The cheese is real. Seriously if you're from NYC area / Long Island area Sals pizza is pretty damn good. Have no idea about the take out pies or dinners etc but the two counter slices were great!

Got a large pizza and an order of wings. The pizza was really good, the wings were just average. The pizza was built well with a good amount of toppings and the crust was nice and crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The wings were okay. I consider myself a wing connoisseur and have certain snobbish standards so to the non snobby the wings might have been really good. But basically the wings should have been crispier and the buffalo sauce tasted right out of a jar. Overall will definitely be back for pizza but maybe not the wings.

Great pizza and service! Stopped after driving by quite a few times. It was not crowded at all and it was great to sit outside on their patio. Service was super efficient and very nice. The pepperoni pizza is fantastic, big slices, NY style, very good. Definitely recommend the garlic knots - exactly what you want in a doughy, buttery, garlicky appetizer!

Finally, a pizza shop in Florida that makes edible pizza! Growing up in Connecticut I admit to being a pizza snob. New Haven Pizza (Peppy's, Sally's, Modern etc) and New York Pizza (Lombardi's or any slice you fold.... Ok, Sal's comes close but not gonna say entirely there ... Ya know whad I'm sayin? When we first moved to Florida could not believe people thought chain store pizza was acceptable. Actually, that it was even pizza. We come from the tri-state land of Pizza parlors owned by Mom and Pop. The ones who brought the recipes straight from Italy. Thus we don't eat Papa John's, Dominos etc., So we drove by Sals.... yelped it and a few days later ventured inside. That was in November. We have returned a few times. The pizza at sal's is almost as thin crust as northeast pizza. Sauce is good. They make white pizzas. They do have other choices. Lasagna, pretty good but ask for extra sauce. Stuffed shells. Ravioli etc., all these are homemade. Huge salads. Grinders aka subs.... Giant Stromboli Place looks like a run down pizza parlor, I rather like that.....not everything needs to be new and flashy. Seat yourself when you walk inside. Wait staff is usually just the one girl but always friendly. The guys in back are nice too. Delivery is available.

So this was our last night of our week long girls trip...we had a craving for pizza. After much research we settled on Sal's. So glad we did. Not fancy at all but the food and service were fantastic! We had the special made to order pizza by the slice...perfect! This is exactly what we were looking for. Liz was an amazing attentive server and Vincenzo made delicious slices exactly how we wanted! Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
